Community Schemes Ombud Service Vacancies March 2024
Introduction
The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is an independent body that resolves disputes between community schemes and their members. The CSOS is committed to promoting effective and efficient community scheme governance, and to ensuring that community scheme members have access to fair and impartial dispute resolution services.
The CSOS is currently seeking to fill a number of vacancies, including:
- Ombud
- Deputy Ombud
- Senior Case Manager
- Case Manager
- Legal Advisor
- Finance Manager
- Human Resources Manager
Ombud
The Ombud is the head of the CSOS and is responsible for the overall management and administration of the organisation. The Ombud is also responsible for adjudicating disputes between community schemes and their members.
Deputy Ombud
The Deputy Ombud is the second-in-command at the CSOS and is responsible for assisting the Ombud in the management and administration of the organisation. The Deputy Ombud is also responsible for adjudicating disputes between community schemes and their members.
Senior Case Manager
Senior Case Managers are responsible for managing and adjudicating complex disputes between community schemes and their members. Senior Case Managers also provide support and guidance to other Case Managers.
Case Manager
Case Managers are responsible for managing and adjudicating disputes between community schemes and their members. Case Managers also provide support and guidance to other Case Managers.
Legal Advisor
The Legal Advisor provides legal advice to the Ombud, Deputy Ombud, and other staff members of the CSOS. The Legal Advisor also represents the CSOS in court and other legal proceedings.
Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial management of the CSOS. The Finance Manager is also responsible for preparing and managing the CSOS’s budget.
Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the human resources management of the CSOS. The Human Resources Manager is also responsible for recruiting and hiring new staff members.
