Getting a job in the banking sector will probably be the best career choice for you especially if you are the type of person who likes to work in an established environment.

There will be more growth opportunities in this sector than in any other industry.

For example, most banks offer brilliant benefits, including medical and disability insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and retirement plans.

Also, when it comes to bonuses, banking has a good reputation for paying better than other corporate jobs.

Now, if that sounds tempting enough for you, let’s take a look together at what kind of job opportunities you can get from FNB.

About First National Bank (FNB)

One of South Africa’s “big five” banks is First National Bank.

It is a subsidiary of FirstRand Limited, a multinational financial services corporation.

FNB is one of the FirstRand Group’s three primary divisions, along with Rand Merchant Bank and Wesbank.

In fact, FNB is South Africa’s oldest bank. Its roots may be traced back to Grahamstown’s Eastern Triocrees Province Bank, which was founded in 1838.

Fascinatingly, the group has total assets of US$90.3+ billion (R698 billion) as of May 2012, including subsidiaries in seven sub-Saharan African nations, as well as Australia and India.
