About Apprenticeship Programme
An apprenticeship program is a form of on-the-job training that combines classroom instruction with paid work experience. It is a training program where an individual, known as an apprentice, learns a skilled trade or profession by working under the guidance of a more experienced worker, known as a mentor or master.
Apprenticeships are designed to provide individuals with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to enter a particular industry or occupation. They are typically offered by employers or industry organizations and can last anywhere from one to six years, depending on the occupation and the level of training required.
During an apprenticeship, the apprentice will receive both theoretical and practical training, allowing them to gain a deep understanding of the trade or profession they are learning. They will also receive on-the-job training, allowing them to practice and apply what they have learned in a real-world setting.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, the apprentice will typically receive a nationally recognized certificate or credential, indicating that they have completed the necessary training and are qualified to work in the industry or profession they have been trained in.
