As a Junior Production Manager at Lucerne Pack Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the overall management of the department, overseeing efficiency, productivity, staff, equipment, hygiene, health and safety, and compliance. The role requires a dynamic individual who can lead and contribute to the success of our production processes.
The role of a Junior Production Manager is a critical position within the field of production and operations management. This professional is typically responsible for overseeing various aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. Below is an overview of the general responsibilities, skills, and qualifications associated with the Junior Production Manager profession:
1. Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Junior Production Managers are involved in creating and monitoring production plans. This includes weekly and daily schedules to ensure that production targets are met.
- Quality Control: They implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that the final products meet specified standards. This involves continuous monitoring and adjustment of processes.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring that safety controls and standards are in place is a crucial aspect of the role. Compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to health and safety is a priority.
- Team Management: Junior Production Managers lead and develop the production team. This includes supervising staff, providing training, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Control processes to align material orders with packing requirements.
- Oversee stock control processes and transactions in line with system requirements and best practices.
- Optimize the packing process to achieve set capacity and productivity levels.
- Lead and develop staff, ensuring high levels of engagement.
- Compute quantities, qualities, and types of materials required by production programs.
- Control chemical stock and oversee the mixing process.
Required Skills:
- Management: 1 to 2 years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be a team player and eager to learn
