Eligibility:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field (essential)
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity, buying, or category management (beneficial)
  • Media analysis, data analytics, or related roles/experience in the advertising or marketing industry (beneficial)

Requirements:

  • Strong acumen for connecting data and insights to tell stories
  • Ability to analyze shopper insights and trends shaping consumer behavior
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for media sales and client campaign recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment

About the Role:

As a Media Insights Analyst at Rainmaker Media, you will play a crucial role in leveraging our industry-leading data assets to generate insights and understand retail media performance. You will work closely with our sales team and clients to translate insights into actionable recommendations, driving sales growth and customer loyalty. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for data analytics, problem-solving, and influencing client growth in the retail and consumer goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret Rainmaker Media data from specified sources, such as advertising platforms and market research.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement by analyzing media data and campaign performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all data used for insights and analysis.
  • Partner with the sales team to generate actionable insights for categories and brands, supporting campaign planning and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations, communicating key insights to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of media plans, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and target audience insights.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and media measurement tools to enhance data analysis capabilities.
