The role of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is crucial in any organization, serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team while overseeing the financial health and direction of the company. Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required
- CA (SA) and/or MBA preferred
- Experience in technology-driven business models, scaling medium-sized businesses into large enterprises, including selling to consumers through online and physical retail channels
- Experience in multinational operations and sales, ideally in emerging markets such as Africa and Asia
- Minimum of 2 years of oversight responsibility for all finance functions within the scope of the role, including financial planning & analysis and cost accounting
- Prior experience as the CFO of a company with at least R100 million of annual revenue, or in a divisional CFO role of a similar sized business, together with the required industry and functional experiences outlined above
- Outstanding knowledge and understanding of IFRS; ESOP experience is a plus
