Job Position: Assistant Operations Administrator

Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Prospecton
Rate: R45 per hour

Operations Administrators are responsible for coordinating various administrative tasks and supporting the operational activities of a business or organization. 1. Administrative Coordination: Operations Administrators are tasked with coordinating administrative functions within their department or organization. This involves managing schedules, organizing meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining documentation.

2. Communication: Effective communication is essential in this role. Operations Administrators liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to convey information, coordinate activities, and resolve any issues that may arise. Clear and concise communication helps ensure that everyone is on the same page and that operations run smoothly.

3. Financial Management: Operations Administrators often assist with financial tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking. They may be responsible for processing invoices, managing petty cash, and compiling financial reports for management review.

  • Matric qualification
  • Diploma/Higher Certificate in Accounting/Finance/Operations
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Applications, V-Motion, and SAP
  • 3-5 years of experience in the logistics/supply chain environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
