Transport Education Training Authority
The Transportation Education and Training Authority (TETA) is a South African organization established to promote education and training in the transportation industry. It was created by the National Department of Transport and is responsible for developing and coordinating education and training programs for the sector.
TETA Internship 2023
TETA offers an internship programme to provide TVET students and recent university graduates with practical work experience in the transportation industry. The program aims to promote skills development, job creation, and career advancement opportunities in the sector.
Internship Requirements
TETA Internship Programme is open to TVET students and recent graduates who are South African citizens and who have completed a relevant tertiary qualification or are currently studying towards one. The eligibility requirements to apply for TETA Internship are:
- Students who have completed university graduates or TVET/CET learners;
- South African students that proof with citizens ID; and
- Students who between 18 and 35 years.

Internship Application
If you have meet the eligibility criteria above, then you must follow the application process for the TETA Internship 2023. Prepare application documents such as CV, a certified copy of ID, a copy of your matric certificates, latest qualification and academic records, and work integrated learning letter. Convert it in a single PDF (no more than 5MB) then send your application via email to internrecruitment@teta.org.za with subject “Reference Number” of specialization you are applying for before January 20, 2023.
