We are currently assisting a reputable plastic manufacturing company in Cape Town in their search for a Junior Electrician. This position is based in Philippi and offers a fixed-term arrangement with a competitive salary of R110 per hour.
A Junior Electrician is an entry-level professional in the field of electrical work, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role typically requires a combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and hands-on experience. Junior Electricians work under the supervision of more experienced electricians or electrical engineers and play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of electrical systems in various settings, such as residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Junior Electricians are responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components, systems, and equipment. This can include wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices.
- Fault Analysis and Repairs: They conduct fault analysis independently, identifying and addressing electrical issues that may arise in different systems. Troubleshooting skills are crucial to quickly and accurately diagnose problems.

Eligibility:
