2. Bed Booking Clerk
Bed booking clerks book, monitor, and control patient beds within the ward. They are also responsible for answering queries from customers and maintaining professional conduct and standards at all times following the hospital policies.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification;
- Past working experience in a private hospital environment;
- Knowledge of medical aid;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Ability to work well under pressure.
3. Unit Manager ICU
Unit managers are accountable and responsible for coordinating building capacity, mentoring, coaching and training in their units. Also, they are required to monitor and ensure that quality nursing care and service delivery is implemented and practised within a multi-disciplinary team.
As a Lenmed unit manager, you’ll be tasked with evaluating the patient’s journey via patient experience and stakeholder contribution. In addition, you’ll be required to promote the health and wellbeing of patients and employees during your service.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant management qualification;
- Post Basic ICU Qualification;
- Three years of experience as a unit manager or shift leader;
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a registered nurse;
- Compulsory BLS and ACLS/PALS certification;
- Computer literacy; and
- Willingness to work overtime.
4. Switchboard Operator
Switchboard operators are responsible for answering the incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner as well as liaising and communicating at all levels. To become a successful switchboard operator, candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
